Julie Savitz, M.A.

Life Coach & Child Advocate

Julie Savitz, M.A., is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges with confidence, resilience, and hope. With more than 24 years of experience in the Broward County Public School system, Julie has served as both a classroom educator and guidance counselor, supporting students and families through academic, emotional, behavioral, and life transitions.

Julie has extensive experience working with high-functioning students with special needs and understands both the classroom environment and the challenges families often face behind the scenes. Her background allows her to collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to help students build the skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

She also served as the coordinator of the PASS (Postsecondary Adult Vocational Support) Program, where she helped young adults develop functional life, social, and employment skills, preparing them for greater independence and success in the community.

As a child advocate, Julie has worked closely with parents to help them understand the special education process, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. She helps families navigate school meetings, understand their child’s educational rights, and ensure that appropriate supports and accommodations are implemented so students receive the services they need to succeed.

Julie holds a Master’s degree in Education and is a Certified Life Coach, Certified Health Coach, and Certified Divorce Coach. Her diverse background allows her to take a holistic approach, recognizing the connection between emotional well-being, relationships, physical health, and personal growth.

Julie utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and believes in breaking challenges down into manageable, step-by-step goals that empower clients to create lasting change. She also enjoys facilitating group programs, where children, adolescents, and adults have the opportunity to learn from one another, develop healthy coping skills, and realize they are not alone in their experiences.

Julie believes every individual has the ability to grow when provided with the right support, encouragement, and practical tools. She is committed to creating a compassionate, collaborative environment where clients can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
