Our therapists are specialty providers and offer care based on evidence and results, not dictated by third-party companies. Therefore, we do not accept insurance directly at our practice. This means that payment in full is due at the time of service.
We understand that therapy is an investment – both emotionally and financially. In order to provide you with the highest level and most specialized care, we are not affiliated or “in network” with any particular insurance panel. By being an “out of network” provider, we are able to ensure that we are working from a clinically compassionate space without having limitations or influence from insurance companies, which can often stipulate what type and the length of treatment clients receive. Further, as an “out of network provider,” therapy sessions do not limit your treatment to a diagnosis, which can become part of a permanent medical record. Lastly, and most importantly, being an “out of network” provider allows us to maintain confidentiality from third-party companies.
We are able to provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Depending on your plan and deductible, you will often receive a percentage of what you already paid back to you, which can help offset the out-of-pocket cost of therapy.
We believe that mental health services should be accessible to all, which is why several of our clinicians provide therapy at a reduced rate for a limited number of clients who are not able to afford our full fee. Please contact us to learn more about this service.
