Dr. Daylene Rodriguez is a psychology fellow at Weston Family Psychology who provides evidence-based therapy and psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, adults, and families in Weston, FL. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician, she is dedicated to creating a safe, collaborative space where individuals and families feel understood, supported, and empowered to experience meaningful growth and lasting change.
Dr. Rodriguez completed her doctoral training in community mental health and hospital-based psychiatric crisis settings. During her APA-accredited internship, she provided individual and family therapy, parent-skills training, crisis intervention, and comprehensive psychological assessments across the lifespan. Her evaluation services include diagnostic, psychoeducational, and personality assessments in both English and Spanish.
She has extensive experience supporting children and adolescents in school and community environments. As a Board Certified Behavior Technician, she provided home- and school-based services for youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, Williams syndrome, and other developmental or behavioral concerns. She later served as a school counselor, working closely with students, families, and educators and participating in 504 and IEP meetings to advocate for students’ emotional and academic well-being. She also trained at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s Psychiatric Crisis Unit, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize youth in acute distress and support families during difficult transitions.
She has a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, high academic or professional expectations, and major developmental transitions — including entering college and early adulthood. She also supports adults — including high-functioning professionals and parents — experiencing burnout, stress-related disorders, and changes related to career, relationships, or parenthood. She is especially attuned to the unique pressures faced by first-generation college students, Spanish-speaking and immigrant families, and neurodivergent individuals striving to meet personal and cultural expectations while maintaining their well-being. Parent-skills training and family collaboration remain central to her work, and she has extensive experience providing structured parent-skills training for parents of adolescents and neurodivergent children, rooted in an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) framework. She believes sustainable change occurs when caregivers feel supported, equipped, and empowered.
Dr. Rodriguez has a growing clinical interest in the treatment of trauma- and stressor-related disorders (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and she is committed to ongoing advanced training in evidence-based approaches for these conditions. Her work is developmentally informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with an emphasis on relationship, transparency, and practical skill-building that supports long-term growth and resilience.
