Dr. Pamela Cohen specializes in assessing and diagnosing mental health challenges affecting children, adolescents, and young adults. With a focus on providing diagnostic clarity and valuable recommendations, she aims to support the treatment planning and academic success of her clients.
Dr. Cohen’s educational background includes a Doctor of Psychology in School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida (UCF). She is also recognized as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) by the National Association of School Psychologists.
Her extensive experience includes work in Broward County schools, psychological assessment clinics, and an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Pleasantville Union Free School District in New York. Dr. Cohen’s postdoctoral fellowship at a private practice in Miami-Dade County further enriched her skills. Here, she conducted psychoeducational and psychological evaluations, provided therapy, and collaborated with diverse mental healthcare professionals.
